A new draft of UNPINNABLE BUTTERFLIES is delivered to presumably interested parties, and I subsequently switch focus to another spec script, a still inchoate affair that borrows bits of WAG THE DOG and perhaps Charlie Kaufman’s more tenebrous inclinations.
In Greenville, North Carolina shooting a piece for MTV News on the progressive candidate Kris Rixon.
In Jersey on a dual-mission to shoot/edit for Danny Clinch and his See, Hear, Now festival in Asbury Park; and for NFL Films in Carlstadt. It’s a busy and multivalent weekend.
I complete a new draft of THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER, and submit to Sundance Lab. Fingers crossed this is one of the next films I shoot soon.
I’m in Atlanta, trailing Tiger Woods for the PGA’s FedEx cup, and happen to be with him when he makes sports history, winning his first tournament in over five years.
I’m in a storage container, on a golf course, in Denver Colorado for 4-straight days, at 12-16 hours per day, cutting for the assiduous and delightful folks at Tour Gigs for the Grandoozy Festival (and client Superfly). We make some excellent visual missives.
I’m camera operating for the legendary Danny Clinch for a John Varvatos commercial in downtown Manhattan. I’ll then switch hats and edit the spot. Luckily, Varvatos will give me some new hats for my efforts.
DP-ing a piece for LOGO TV with Yuhua Hamaski.
It’s very odd: I’m in Las Vegas, in a room with Bruno Mars, and that’s about all I’m allowed to say.
