A day shooting cartoonists—Art Spiegelman and Kim Deitch—for the accomplished documentarian Susan Stern and her documentary about her late husband, Spain Rodriguez (I am subbing for the incredibly talented Naiti Gamez). That same day, after wrap, I head uptown to Morning Side Heights and join another shoot, for Yamaha, documenting the up-and-coming composer Or Matias.
