(2011 / East Pleasant) When U2 calls, you make room in your schedule. Shot at an undisclosed location in Manhattan to honor philanthropist and former MTV CEO Bill Roedy, this was the fruit of one of my three professional recountres with the legendary Irish band. On this occasion, they were recording a new record, and after we shot, we brought the footage in through the felicitous detritus of their recording assemblage, sat in the kitchen with them, and watched. How strange to watch U2 on a screen, then turn around and see them all lined up behind you. I am rarely starstruck, but this time I was.
