Fossilized rapture

I’m in Mexico City, two blocks from Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, and a call from London importunes me to put together a film crew, the next day, to capture a fragmented backhoe’s reconstruction as a fossilized artifact/sculpture in Times Square. It’s sub-zero temperatures, snowing, over the next two days, and with George Nicholas’s help, of course we do it.

Shooting behind the scenes interviews with Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Kenan Thompson, Norbert Leo Butz, and Brianna Denski for Paramount Pictures’ Wonder Park. It’s the coldest day of the year, yet the heat goes off in the studio, and even Broderick is shivering in front of the gelid green screen.
