Latex Ball

June 26th, 2019

A week of pre-pro, a week and a half of production, and two weeks of editing culminate in 4 short films I direct/produce, DP, and edit for Logo TV’s coverage of the Latex Ball (see Jennie Livingston’s iconic Paris is Burning and Ryan Murphy’s Pose). All the pullulation is worth bearing witness to an amazing LGBTQ fête (sponsored by Gay Men’s Health Crisis). Watch the Teaser, Learning the Moves, The Moves, and the Latex Ball; and watch all Latex Ball related films here:

Artificial daylight, windowless room

April 11th, 2019

Chris Murphy and I meet in a windowless room in a lower Manhattan ensconcement, furnished in burgundy curtains and burnished wood, aglow with artificial daylight, and record a number of tunes employing recursive violin samples.
