Fossilized rapture

March 4th, 2019

I’m in Mexico City, two blocks from Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, and a call from London importunes me to put together a film crew, the next day, to capture a fragmented backhoe’s reconstruction as a fossilized artifact/sculpture in Times Square. It’s sub-zero temperatures, snowing, over the next two days, and with George Nicholas’s help, of course we do it.
